Himalayan Kriya Yoga

Introductory Course

Himalayan Kriya Yoga is Energy Yoga

Himalayan Kriya Yoga is Energy Yoga.

We use breathwork, dynamic meditation techniques, tapping, Mudras, and Mantras to bring about intensely heightened states called Samadhi.

It is the quickest way to remove toxicity of all kinds, leaving yourself happy, healthy, and balanced.

During the pandemic, I was lying awake in bed, questioning reality and the state of the world. Then I received the message that I needed to say YES to the mission of bringing Himalayan Kriya Yoga to the World, and teach people how to help themselves and others through this method. The message was that the people of the world are ready to be empowered to heal themselves.

Two years prior, my Guruji, Dr. Pradeep Ullal, suggested I start training Kriya teachers, and I did not feel ready or enough. But at that moment in May 2020, when the whole world was paused, I decided to step up, embrace my destiny, and say Yes. I feel very honored and grateful to be doing this, and I am also excited for all the people who are going to begin on the exciting journey from stress to bliss.

I have tried many modalities, but this is by far the most powerful and effective that I have encountered, and this is why I am devoting the rest of my time to sharing it with everyone who is committed to working on themselves.

What are the Mechanisms of Himalayan Kriya Yoga?

  1. Alignment
  2. Balancing of Energies
  3. Circulation of Energy and Fluids Through the Spine
  4. Energy Surges Through the Spine
  5. Balancing Brain Chemicals: Serotonin, Melatonin, Dopamine, and Endorphins

Elements of Himalayan Kriya Yoga:

  1. Dynamic Movements
  2. Tapping
  3. Mudras
  4. Mantras

Himalayan Kriya Yoga is described by Paramahansa Yogananda, author of ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ in this manner: “The Kriya Yogi mentally directs his life energy to revolve, upward and downward, around the six spinal centers (medullary, cervical, dorsal, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal plexuses), which correspond to the twelve astral signs of the zodiac, the symbolic Cosmic Man.

One half-minute of revolution of energy around the sensitive spinal cord of man affects subtle progress in his evolution; that half-minute of Kriya equals one year of natural spiritual unfoldment.”

This is a sacred science of alignment for purification at all levels to attain blissful union within through balance of the physical, mental, emotional, and casual bodies. The key is unlocking the energies of the spine. and pure penetration into meditative awareness, and the realization that we are nothing but a dance of light.

Purifying the physical body so it is free of pain, suffering, and disease is the first step on the road. The practices are designed to energetically cleanse your body of energy blockages in the quickest way possible. These include mental patterns, stored emotions, and karmic patterns.

We have a multi-layered experience of life as a human being, being able to pick up reality with many different tools. To understand more, watch this video

The Energy body, or Pranamaya Kosha, is primarily fueled by breathing.

In this video, I share important information on techniques to make your Kriya experience more fruitful.

The two main breathing techniques we use in this course will be:

  • UJAYI BREATH: It is the breathing technique we use to activate and energize our channels.
  • KALI MUDRA: It is the breathing technique we use to clear our energy channels.

Mudras are basically signs with the hands and fingers, particularly finger tips, which are the centers of nerve endings. They enhance the interaction between the psychic, subtle, and physical aspects of the body.

The Mudras channel the subtle Pranic energies to particular subtle centers, or Chakras.

It is also worth noting that a Mudra is done with the fleshy part of the finger, not the fingernail, unless specified. Some of the most common mudras are:

  • Gyan Mudra (forefinger and thumb touch, for wisdom)
  • Shuni Mudra (middle finger and thumb touch, for patience)
  • Ravi Mudra (ring finger and thumb touch, for energy)
  • Buddhi Mudra (pinkie and thumb touch, for intuition)
  • Prayer Pose (Pranam Mudra, palms together at chest, for centering)

Through the power of Mudras, we activate the five Elemental Flows in the body for better overall body health.

The role of the five elements in the body is also discussed briefly.

Himalayan Kriya Yoga is a very powerful tool to help yourself and others liberate themselves from pain.

Here is one Kriya session that cures and prevents headaches.

There are three common causes of headaches:

  • Stress Headaches
  • Postural Headaches
  • Emotional Headaches

This video teaches you how to deal with them.
